Trash Services Earl Township
Service includes two (2) full thirty-gallon cans OR three (3) bags per residence per collection.
- All refuse receptacles must securely contain its contents and may be easily handled by one person. Containers, together with contents shall not exceed forty (40) pounds in weight.
We cannot take:
- Hazardous waste including radioactive, reactive, toxic, ignitable, corrosive, or acidic items.
- E-waste including televisions, computers, etc.
- C & D including concrete, roofing, and other home remodeling debris.

Bulk Waste
Bulk item removal is not included with your waste service but can be scheduled for an additional fee. Please contact us for more information.
Mattresses and Toilets
For our employees’ safety:
- Mattresses and box springs must be wrapped in plastic.
- Toilets must be bagged.
Freezer, Refrigerator, Air conditioner, dehumidifier, water cooler:
- All doors must be removed prior to pick up.
- These items cannot be picked up with the regular truck.

Recycling Services
The Township does not contract with anyone to collect recycling. If you are interested in recycling, you may take your glass, aluminum, tin cans, plastic and paper to The Rolling Hills Landfill, located at 583 Longview Road (for GPS enter 2 Shenkel Road), and deposit in the provided containers.
Monday – Friday: 8:00am – 4:00pm
Acceptable Materials: aluminum cans, glass bottles, jars, metal cans, plastic beverage containers, and cardboard
Yard Waste
General yard and garden wastes such as branches, grass clippings, weeds, and leaves are not included with your waste service.
Several facilities in Berks County accept yard waste for composting.
