Whitetail Disposal is servicing the majority of Northampton Township residents with automated trucks that utilize Northampton Township toters for collection.
Some residents will still be serviced by manual trucks and do not receive toters.
If you have a green recycle toter provided by Northampton township continue to use it.
There is no additional monthly cost for a 2nd cart.

If your recycling is contaminated, or includes items that are not acceptable according to the list below, they will be rejected.
Recyclables must be clean and dry. Do not bag recyclables.

Plastic bags are not accepted as part of curbside recycling programs – they get tangled in equipment and threaten worker safety.
Plastic bags can be recycled at most grocery stores.
Plastic wrap, bubble wrap, sandwich bags and freezer bags should not go in the recycle bin.
Reuse whenever possible for presents, moving, or storage of similar items, or look for local options to recycle.
Flexible packaging like chip bags and juice or soup pouches cannot be recycled in curbside programs.
This type of packaging is made from multiple materials preventing it from being recycled.

Polystyrene foam, plastic “to-go” containers and cups are made of non-recyclable materials, and are not acceptable in the curbside recycling program.
Packing peanuts aren’t recyclable either, however some shipping stores will take peanuts back for reuse.
Branches or shrubbery cannot extend over the top of the can or bag.
Unlimited yard waste will be collected and taken to a composting facility the day following collection of trash/recycling.

Trees will be collected the 3rd week of January.

One (1) bundle per week can be put out next to the recycling cart.

If you cannot repurpose your personal can you can put it out for collection on your trash day. It should be empty, marked with a red X, and place upside down to let the driver know you want it removed.
April 1st through December 15th use biodegradable, 30-gallon paper bags or personal trash containers that do not weigh more than 50 pounds when full.
December 16th through March 31st Yard waste should be put in your Northampton Township trash toter(s).
